The Transatlantik-Institut at the Universities of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen and Worms - in cooperation with the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama in Mobile - offers an individually designed Executive Master of Business Administration in General and International Management to those companies, which would like to enroll at least 10 employees in this management training program. The employees can participate in the Executive MBA Program regardless of their individual location, since the program is designed as an online training program. The cooperating companies have the opportunity to actively participate in customizing the structure and content of the program in order to specifically address their individual situation. Companies can offer the 18-month training program to those employees, who have a university degree and at least two years of work experience.

The academic degree Master of Business Administration (MBA) is awarded by the University of South Alabama in Mobile and is valid and accepted in Germany, due to the accreditation of the program by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) .

Due to the close cooperation between both universities, this innovative online MBA program provides a very efficient, modern and location-independent way of transferring knowledge, while taking into account the increasing job requirements and challenges within the global economy. The different training modules are internet-based and therefore also facilitate international company projects.

The program contains all classic subjects, which constitute an MBA degree in General and International Management : Based on a solid foundation of knowledge in quantitative methods and modern information technology, the program addresses all major issues in controlling, financial management, operations management as well as marketing. Management and leadership skills are developed and extended in courses such as "Management and Organizational Behavior in Contemporary Organizations" or "International Business: Environment and Enterprise".

Finally, the course "Business Policy and Administrative Action in a Global Economy" concludes the MBA program, by combining all managerial functions within one final course. The company can decide whether to offer this final course in a 3-week stay on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, or as an in-class lecture in Germany. After this final course has been completed, the participants join for a solemn commencement ceremony, which is held by the faculty members of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, to celebrate their graduation and successful completion of the program.
