Graduation of the 12th MBA-Cohort of the Transatlantik-Instituts in Pensacola, Florida

„18 months ago, we started as strangers. We became friends during the MBA, and now, we are family!“ said Hoang Mai Nguyen in her moving speech as Student Speaker on June 24, 2017 at the College of Business of the University of West Florida. In addition to the excellent team spirit and personal ties in this year's MBA Group, she also highlighted the positive professional development of her fellow students. Thus, five of the fellow students had already been promoted during the course of studies or had been able to change to a better employer.

The ceremony was moderated by the Dean of the College of Business of the UWF, Prof. Dr. Timothy O'Keefe, and the Director of the MBA Office, Melissa Brode. In his speech, guest lecturer Prof. Dr. Scott Keller underlined the relevance of emotional intelligence. “The potential for great leadership is at your fingertips,” he said, and added: “In our world of virtual realities and virtual relationships, where driverless flying cars and 4D-printing of products are truly possibilities, do not allow your mind to become virtual realities. Choose to leverage the full power of your intelligence, both cognitive and emotional, to achieve your most highly priced dreams in quality of life and help others achieve the same.”
